Call Of Duty has
launched the
beta for their
online social
network 'Call Of Duty
Elite', but what is it
really and will it be
worth the
$49 a
year subscription?

First off for you to
join the beta you must sign up then get
invited. Before you get all in a twist over the cost, their is a
free portion to the
site.

I have been
testing out the
beta for over a week now, and even tho all the
features haven't been
unlocked yet, its pretty
cool.
My
favorite features so far are that you can see every
weapon you have used, how many
kills you got with it and how one
stacks up against another. I also love the fact that you can create
classes and adjust existing ones from your
computer or smart
device.

The '
Elite' network is definitely for the
extreme Call Of Duty
gamer. But one major
benefit for the
social gamer, is that by going for the
premium paid
subscription, you get all the cool
features the
network has to offer, plus all the
DLC's and
map packs all
year long for free.
For example their were
4 map packs for '
Call Of Duty: Black Ops' this year that cost
$15 each, a total of
$60. I didn't get to do any of the other things '
Elite' will offer, so to me its
worth it.
