BEATS BY DRE & DAVID GUETTA PRESENT "BEATS MIXR" HEADPHONES!!!
Beats by Dr Dre has teamed up with music producer and DJ David Guetta for a new set of headphones aimed at DJ's. The 'Beats Mixr' headphones was designed entirely with DJs in mind, with a compact form factor and ear cups that can swivel 180 degrees.
The new 'Beats Mixr' feature many of the audio properties of all the 'Beats By Dre' headphones, but take into account loud, high noise environments, such as a club, a recording studio or on the street.
David Guetta himself had major input with the headset's creation:
"The process of creating the Beats mixr headphones was completely collaborative between me and Beats by Dr. Dre,"
"Our vision was to create the perfect world class headphone for DJs and music lovers alike and the outcome is truly amazing! I use headphones every day in the studio and every night at gigs, so I know how important the difference in quality is and want to share that.
"The sound is better than anything I’ve experienced before because it doesn’t distort no matter what volume I am playing music at. They’re easy to travel with because they’re so light and compact. I can’t wait to start using them when I’m DJing, creating music or just when I’m listening to music on the move."
Coming in October to the UK
The Beats mixr will be available in white or black at HMV for around £250.

NBA 2K12 COMING FOR iPHONE & iPAD OCT 4TH 2011!!!
2K Sports will launch their basketball series on iOS devices Tuesday, October 4th, the day Apple will announce the new iPhone 5. NBA2K12 will be hitting Apple’s iPhone and iPad for the first time. CNET says animations are great and console-like, down to the Signature Style shooting moves. NBA2K12 supports Apple’s Game Center and sports Michael Jordan classic battles. In fact, it’s the first time the famous basketball player has adorned any mobile gaming platform. As for playing modes:
You have the standard Quick Game; there’s a full 82-game Season Mode with player transactions; Playoff Mode, where you’ll skip the regular season and jump right into the games that count; and Situation Mode, which allows you to create custom scenarios where you can try to comeback from 5 points down with a minute left.
NBA2K12 will cost ten bucks on the iPad and half that for the iPhone/iPod touch version.

Eerlier this week Lil Wayne's album 'Tha Carter IV' sold 964,000 copies it's first week out. It was just short of his last album 'Tha Carter III' which sold 1,005,545 in it's first week.

CALL OF DUTY 'ELITE' SOCIAL NETWORK!!!
Call Of Duty has launched the beta for their online social network 'Call Of Duty Elite', but what is it really and will it be worth the $49 a year subscription?
First off for you to join the beta you must sign up then get invited. Before you get all in a twist over the cost, their is a free portion to the site.
I have been testing out the beta for over a week now, and even tho all the features haven't been unlocked yet, its pretty cool.
My favorite features so far are that you can see every weapon you have used, how many kills you got with it and how one stacks up against another. I also love the fact that you can create classes and adjust existing ones from your computer or smart device.
The 'Elite' network is definitely for the extreme Call Of Duty gamer. But one major benefit for the social gamer, is that by going for the premium paid subscription, you get all the cool features the network has to offer, plus all the DLC's and map packs all year long for free.
For example their were 4 map packs for 'Call Of Duty: Black Ops' this year that cost $15 each, a total of $60. I didn't get to do any of the other things 'Elite' will offer, so to me its worth it.
